Pasta Sofia "Triple O" Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
- ½ cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 jalapeño, seeds removed
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 cup grated hickory smoked Gruyère cheese (Boar’s Head recommended)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2–3 heaping tablespoons of pesto
- ½ cup heavy cream
- A small drizzle of olive oil
Instructions:
- Prepare Ingredients: Place the cilantro, jalapeño, garlic, smoked Gruyère, Parmesan (if using), pesto, heavy cream, and olive oil in a blender.
- Blend to Consistency: Gradually add the heavy cream to help the mixture blend smoothly. Continue blending until the sauce reaches a uniform, creamy texture. It may require 1 cup of heavy cream.
- Heat the Sauce: Pour the blended mixture into a skillet and heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally until warmed through.
- Serve: This recipe makes enough sauce for two servings of pasta. Toss with your favorite cooked pasta and enjoy!
