If you have this problem, try uninstalling the Visual Studio 2015-2022 redistributable and ScanSnap software. Then, reboot the computer and reinstall ScanSnap. This will also install Visual Studio Redistributable 2017 x86, allowing PfuSsMon.exe to function correctly. After everything is working, you can upgrade Visual Studio, and everything will remain functional.
Ricoh needs to upgrade its stuff.
